About Pastor Rick Hudock
Pastor Rick brings over 25 years of ministry experience in such diverse areas as Washington, DC, rural southern Virginia, Arlington, Virginia and Portsmouth, Virginia. He has ministered internationally as well in Ghana, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, Kenya and Ethiopia. His spiritual care is characterized by compassion, strong biblical preaching and building meaningful relationships. Rick served as lead pastor at Westhaven Baptist Church from 2017 before he began pastoring at Beale Memorial in October 2021.
Rick is excited about his next chapter in ministry and leading Beale through a time of growing, relevant ministry, and loving care.
Rick was saved in 1985 and Jesus turned his life around. He has a B.A. in International Relations and a Master of Public Administration, both from Penn State University. He has a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Rick has also completed Clinical Pastoral Education with the National Cancer Institute at NIH. He is currently a part-time online adjunct professor of Spirituality and Ethical Decision-making in Healthcare at Grand Canyon University.
Rick currently lives in Suffolk, VA with his wife, Kathy, who is a special needs teacher with Chesapeake Public Schools. They enjoy traveling, riding their motorcycle and home DIY projects. They have six wonderful adult children.
