Fifth Annual Regional Women’s  

On March 15, 2025, nearly 300 women from around the region gathered in the auditorium at Essex High School for a one-day conference titled “Rise Up Women of God”, sponsored by the Connect Women’s Ministry.

Denise Pass of Fredericksburg, Virginia was the guest speaker. Denise gave a powerful message on what it means to walk closely with God, especially through life’s challenges, and discover the strength that comes from trusting Him in every step.

A number of local businesses lent support through donations, including Andrea’s Family Hair Care, Angie’s Strength and Style, Burke’s Jewelers, Colonial Collectables, Crying Shame, Faith Works, Norwood’s Boutique, Pammy’s Produce, Rivah Hair Studio, and The Glamper Salon. Boxed lunches were provided by Excellent E.A.T.s of Warsaw, VA.
